DALLAS, TX — Independence Day is meant for celebration, and while most people won't be at work, many will still have errands to run.
And because nothing is worse than driving to a grocery store and realizing it's closed, we took the liberty of making your life much easier.
Here's a look at Dallas stores, government offices and more — and their hours for Independence Day.
- Post offices: Closed
- Federal offices: Most are closed
- City of Dallas offices: Closed
- Dallas County offices: Closed
- Libraries: Closed
- Municipal Courts Building at 2014 Main: Closed
- Sanitation: Enter your address here to see when your trash will be picked up.
- Dallas Zoo: Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Grocery Stores:
- Kroger: Open
- Walmart: Open
- Tom Thumb: Open
- Brookshire's: Open
- Sprouts: Open
- Whole Foods: Open
- Dollar General: Open
- Market Street: Open
- Trader Joe's: all Trader Joe’s Stores will close at 5 p.m.
- WinCo: Closes Open
- Fiesta Mart, La Michoacana: Open
- Sam's Club: Store closes early
- Costco: Closed
