Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:
- The world's largest coconut is coming to Dallas this weekend. The roadside attraction is to promote the launch of Vita Coco Coconut Juice. The attraction is located at Bishop Arts District on N. Zang Boulevard from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday. (CW33 Dallas)
- The Dallas area might finally get some rain today. The temporary relief comes after record temperatures on Wednesday afternoon when the airport's thermometer reached 109 degrees. The storm will bring highs in the upper 90s and a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms. (The Dallas Morning News)
- The 26th Annual Hatch Festival will be from Aug. 1 through Aug. 31 at Blue Mesa Grill. The restaurant will be serving hatch chiles in a variety of foods such as Chile Rellenos, salsas, and sauces.
