Xplor Campers Donate More than $1,000 to Ronald McDonald House
Campers raised money and collected a variety of donations for the organization, which supports seriously ill and traumatically injured child
Summer campers at Xplor Preschool & School Age Care in Crowley recently donated more than 1,500 essential care items and $1,000 to Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth. Over the past few weeks, campers worked together to raise money and collect items on the organization’s wish list, including snacks, blankets, toiletries, utensils, disinfecting wipes and more. The items will benefit families who are residing at Ronald McDonald House while their children are being treated at nearby hospitals for critical illnesses or traumatic injuries. At the end of the collection, campers delivered the items to Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth and received a tour of the facility. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping others in their community.
