Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard, and Dusty Hill are the ZZ Top we’ve all come to know. And they’re ready to celebrate. Gibbons made a recent statement about their three upcoming shows, ““It’s been five decades, and I think we’re starting to get pretty good at this! We’re just as excited to be back in Texas this May playing our bluesy kind of rock as when started with in ’69. The beards, Frank excepted, are perhaps a bit longer, yet nothing else has changed much and we're keeping it that way”.
ZZ Top has been playing the roots of American music on stage since the seventies. Their blues inspired rock is the back bone of their sound, but they’ve added other styles to their music through the years, gathering even more fans along the way – a bit of punk rock, some new wave, and even some hip-hop. Their last album in 2012, “La Futura” features some of the best music the trio has ever produced.

Helping ZZ Top with the their 50th anniversary celebration are other rock greats Cheap Trick and Bad Company. Cheap Trick was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 – they’re one of the most toured groups in the world with over 5,000 live performances. Bad Company is also a great addition to ZZ Top’s three-show event. This hard rock band reached huge success in the seventies, with classic singles such as “Ready for Love” and “Feel Like Makin’ Love."
