1 Critically Injured In Downtown Austin Nightclub Shooting
Police were called to the 500 block of Neches Street at around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday and arrested a suspect later that day.
AUSTIN, TX — A person sustained life-threatening injuries after a nightclub shooting in downtown Austin early Saturday, police confirmed.
Police wrote on Twitter they were called to the 500 block of Neches Street at around 1:30 a.m. The address corresponds to the Cielo Nightclub, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The shooting victim was transported to a hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries. Police said a suspect was under arrest in the shooting's aftermath.
