2 Dead, 4 Injured In East Austin Crash
Head-on collision at the intersection of Colfax Drive and North Imperial Drive just after 9 p.m. leaves 2 men dead in East Austin.
EAST AUSTIN, TX — Two people died and several others were injured in a head-on collision in East Austin Sunday night, medics said.
The vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Colfax Drive and North Imperial Drive just after 9 p.m., according to Austin-Travis County EMS medics. Two men were pronounced dead at the scene, according to an EMS tweet.
In addition to the fatalities, a woman in her 20s was transported to a hospital via a medical helicopter for treatment of serious, potentially critical injuries; another woman in her 20s was rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center; and a girl was taken to Dell Children's Hospital with potentially serious injuries. A fourth victim declined medical treatment, medics said.

It's unclear what may have caused the collision to occur. No further details were released.
