EAST AUSTIN, TX — Austin fans of the acclaimed San Antonio eatery Pinch Boil House and Bia Bar are in for a disappointment following news the restaurant won't be coming to Plaza Saltillo after all.

Culture Map Austin reports on the sad news that emerged after company officials had scheduled a summer opening at the East Austin location. No reason was given for the abrupt pullout.

As the website noted, chefs Sean Wen and Andrew Ho opened Pinch Boil House in September 2017 after a series of successful pop-ups in San Antonio and Austin. "The menu of Southeast Asian street food and Viet-Cajun seafood boils soon made it into a sensation," the site reported.
