AUSTIN, TX — Just in time for the upcoming World Food Day observance later this month, a recent study shows Austin to be the 10th best foodie city in America.
That's according to WalletHub analysts outlined in their 2019’s Best Foodie Cities in America report. To achieve its list, WalletHub compared more than 180 of the largest U.S. cities across 30 key metrics. The resulting data set ranges from affordability and accessibility of high-quality restaurants to food festivals per capita an the number of food festivals, craft breweries and wineries.
The findings come ahead of World Food Day to be observed as Oct. 16.
