Austin 2nd Best City In Which To Live: Study
Personal finance website WalletHub analyzed 62 of the nation's biggest cities to sous out which were the best ones.

AUSTIN, TX — Most of us living in Austin believe we're No. 1, but a new study found the city is the nation's second best in which to live.
Still, not too shabby. The WalletHubstudy analyzed 62 of the largest U.S. cities to achieve its list, using 56 "key indicators of attractiveness" as its metrics. These factors included job opportunities, life expectancy, quality of public schools and other appealing dynamics. Other less-palatable metrics such as property taxes and cost of living also were thrown into the mix.
The upshot: Austin topped the list for income growth, came in 7th place for the quality of its public schools, was ranked 8th in its violent crime rate and was in 10th place in the number of job opportunities.
