Austin Among Nation's Most LGBTQ-Inclusive Cities
Using data found on its app, Yelp has identified friendliest cities as Pride Month observance and ahead of Stonewall Riots anniversary.

AUSTIN, TX — In observance of Pride Month and ahead of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, the Texas capital city has emerged as among the nation's most inclusive cities.
The newly released findings from Yelp are contained in its "Top 20 Most Inclusive Cities" list. Researchers compiled the list as a primer for Yelp users to identify businesses that are especially friendly to the LGBTQ+ community, analysts noted.
Central to the findings was Yelp's business attribute feature found on its app. Through this app feature, users can find business offering gender-neutral restrooms and other tactics of diversity and inclusion. The "open to all" notation on the app speaks to showcased businesses' philosophies of being open to everyone "... "regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, religion or disability."
