Hello, neighbors! Gabriela Couvillion here with the Tuesday copy of the Austin Daily.

Here are the top stories today in Austin:
- The Austin Animal Center urgently needs short-term foster homes, as they have no more space in the shelter, which presently houses 312 medium and large dogs. According to the shelter, the "expected high temperatures... would not be a humane option to house incoming dogs," so they are looking for fosters who can commit at least one week to housing a pet. To offer to help as a foster, visit the Austin Animal Center at 7201 Levander Loop Bldg. A until 6 p.m., but please call before going to make sure they will be there to arrange with you the process. (FOX 7 Austin)
- A documentary titled "Parque Zaragoza: Communidad, Cultura, y Resiliencia" and funded "through "the City of Austin Historic Preservation Fund" and "the Economic Development Department's Heritage Tourism Division" will be released ahead of "Parque Zaragoza's 90th Anniversary Celebration" on Saturday, May 14 from 1-5 p.m. The free family celebratory event is "hosted by Amigos de Parque Zaragoza" and the documentary is produced by PARD's Historic Preservation and Tourism Program. Those who are unable to make the event can see the documentary on "PARD's YouTube Channel, YouTube.com/AustinCityParks." For more on this story visit: (AustinTexas.gov)
