AUSTIN, TX — July 4th is here, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Austin so you can have a fabulous holiday.

How are you planning to light up the night this Fourth of July? This year, Geraldine’s at Hotel Van Zandt is celebrating with their Red, White and Blues event. Complete with live Blues music beginning at 8 p.m. and special all-American menu items such as fried chicken and cherry pie, Austinites are encouraged to see Elijah Zane and Jo James perform, with a dazzling firework show as the intermission. Reservations are encouraged, but not required.

Central Texas' largest fireworks show with a live performance by the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Orchestra starts at 7 p.m., with fireworks at 9:45 p.m. Food, Drinks, Arts & Crafts, Family Fun! FREE! All Ages!

Inaugural event will feature an Italian-American, buffet-style cookout in partnership with Angels Envy Bourbon providing refreshing cocktails. Live music will be provided by Austin band V5, face painting can be had and more fun activities.

Free entry to the pool, inflatable water slides in the park and more.

Live music for a crowd of thousands at Round Rock's Old Settlers Park as part of the annual Frontier Days Celebration . Watermelon, sky divers, music and more.

All-day event will feature performances headlined by the legendary Willie Nelson also will feature music from Luke Combs, Nathaniel Ratcliff & The Night Sweats, Allison Krauss, Jamey Johnson, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Hayes Carll, Cotter Wall, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Gene Watson, Billie Joe Shaver, Johnny Bush, Folk Uke, Ralelyn Nelson Band and the Casey Kristofferson Band.

Celebrate the 4th of July from an aquatic vantage point in your own personal water craft. Rowing Dock will close during its regular hours of operation to reopen at 7:45 p.m. to provide rentals. Music from Auditorium Shores starts at 8:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Los Angeles-based rapper LiL Debbie is introducing her live Dj inside Nook Amphitheater.

4th of July pool party at the University Village complex off Riverside, 1301 Crossing Place that could be moved to University Estates at 1300 Crossing Place. Free to get in, shots start at $2, beers at $4 and food plates at $5. All-inclusive wristbands for $30 can be purchased or $20 all-you-can-eat-and-drink ones. Activities include a memorial balloon release, DJ, basketball court, and more.

Tiki torches, pool time, and a tasty plate of Hawaiian BBQ for $35 admission.

  • Where: Hill Country Galleria, 12700 Hill Country Blvd., Bee Cave, Texas
  • When: Thursday, July 4, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Galleria has partnered with Special Events Live, the folks behind Austin's Pecan Street Festival, for the festivities this year. Guests will experience live music, fair games and rides, festival food, barbecue, art fair with 75+ local artisans and makers, and a spectacular fireworks show, in addition to all the shopping and entertainment that the Galleria offers.

  • Where: Sheraton Georgetown, 1101 Woodlawn Avenue Georgetown, Texas.
