Eateries across the city are poised to offer special meals for the family on Easter Sunday April 21, 2019.
AUSTIN, TEXAS — Easter is just around the corner, and Austin restaurants are geared up to offer special meals to celebrate the most important day in the Christian faith.
The Carillon, Ciclo, Perry's Steakhouse & Grille, Matties and more fine restaurants will be offering specially priced meals for the entire family to enjoy. Easter Sunday commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and is considered to be the most important Christian holiday.

Spring Sunday Brunch at The Carillon: Located within the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center, The Carillon is offering a Spring Sunday Brunch Buffet. The spread includes something for everyone including breakfast dishes, cold seafood, charcuterie, salads, soups, a Prime Rib carving station, entrees including a Rack of Lamb and Texas Redfish, sides and desserts. Complimentary Self-Parking is available in the Conference Center parking garage.

This neighborhood restaurant in the pecan grove, nestled on the edge of Zilker Park, is offering an Easter brunch created by executive chef Grae Nonas —formerly of Olamaie and a James Beard Rising Star Chef Finalist. The brunch features modern spins on local and regional dishes, highlighting locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
For Easter brunch, Chef Grae is offering special menu items alongside popular brunch dishes, such as Heart-Shaped Waffles with Huckleberry Butter and Maple Syrup; Migas Scramble with Tomatillo Salsa and Tortillas; Griddle Burger with Cheese, Sweet Onion and Special Sauce; among others. Additional special menu items for the holiday include:
- Allium Pesto Mollet Eggs;
- Country Ham and Biscuits with Hot Pepper Jelly;
- Spring Salad with Asparagus, Ramps and Sugar Snaps;
- Spinach and Ricotta Pie;
- Cacio e Pepe with Peas and Favas;
- Pork Schnitzel with Cucumber Salad.
Beverage director Sean Hoard offers classic brunch cocktails such as Mimosa, Bloody Mary and Michelada, alongside house cocktails such as Little Prince with Grapefruit, Red Bitter and Tequila; andOld Cuban with Aged Rum, Mint, Lime, Bitters and Sparkling Wine, among others.
Carpenters Hall offers outdoor seating and is open for brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are available on Resy.

Easter Brunch at Ciclo: Visit Ciclo to find a spread of over 80 dining options including “action stations” of chef prepared food to order. Enjoy photos with the Easter Bunny and access to the always-popular Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn. Empty baskets provided.

Fleming's will be offering a three-course menu for both children (starting at $16) and adults (starting at $30) on Easter Sunday at both of its Austin locations. All adult meals include a choice of a starter, two sides to share (not on children’s menu), and choice of dessert. Dishes include Signature Eggs Benedict with Sliced Filet Mignon, Crab Cake or Surf & Turf, Brioche French Toast and Salmon Cobb Salad for adults and Colossal Shrimp Tempura, Mac & Cheese and Filet Mignon for children. Geraldine’s Eggcelent Adventure: After you enjoy a wholesome brunch with your family, join the team at Geraldine’s for their Eggcelent Adventure on the pool deck. Complete with an adult Easter egg hunt with extravagant prizes featuring a golden egg with a cash prize, live music, and food & beverage specials including rainbow deviled eggs and three specialty cocktails from beverage director Caitlyn Jackson to make for an #eggcelentafternoon. Time: Hunt to begin at 2 p.m.

The Hyatt Regency Austin plans an Easter brunch on Sunday, April 21, at Marker 10 restaurant patio, offering direct vistas of Lady Bird Lake and downtown Austin. The holiday brunch buffet with will feature everything from a build-your-own “pancake pantry” station and taco with house-smoked brisket and carne asada, to huevos rancheros and several dessert options. Additionally, the brunch will also include “Mix Your Own Mimosas” and a build-your-own Bloody Mary station.
