Austin-Born Torchy's Tacos Now Offers Catering For Large Groups
Fans can know order their favorite menu items from an easy-to-order catering menu of breakfast tacos, Damn Good tacos, chips, dips, more.
AUSTIN, TEXAS — Lovers of Torchy’s Tacos, which are legion, will rejoice at this news. In fact, if you're one of them, you may want to sit down first.
The chain of tacos by which people swear (the chain, too, dubbing their centerpiece offerings as "damn good tacos" emblazoned on restaurant walls), on Monday launched its Catering and Party Pack Menus option. Yes, that's right: Torchy's Tacos aficionados can now chose their favorite menu items from an easy-to-order catering menu of breakfast tacos, Damn Good tacos, chips, dips and more.
Or, Torchy's Tacos fans can select a Party Pack fit to satisfy the hunger of 20 taco junkies, officials wrote in a press release. Catering and Party Pack Menus are described as ideal for events of all kinds, including birthday parties, office lunches and more. In addition, the Torchy’s Taco Truck is available in Austin for catering weddings, corporate outings, meetings and events, officials noted. Restaurant officials also suggest the option would be ideal for Super Bowl viewing parties this coming weekend.

Catering and Party Packs can be ordered in-store – with at least 24-hours’ notice – with full online ordering coming soon. The chain has long offered online ordering for small orders, but this new development yields the same option for larger groups.
“Our fans have been asking us to cater their events for years, and we’re happy to kick off 2019 by satisfying their cravings for our Damn Good tacos,” said G.J. Hart, CEO of Torchy’s Tacos, in a prepared statement. “We know how challenging it is to find an easy solution for ordering food for parties, office gatherings and more, but our new catering menu simplifies the process with several customizable pick-up and delivery options.”

Launched from a food truck in Austin in 2006, Torchy’s Tacos has grown from a local favorite to a taco-offering staple now located throughout the southwestern United States. Today, the brand has over 60 locations in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado with additional expansion planned in 2019 and beyond.
