Austin Chamber Schedules Economic Outlook Event

The Dec. 5 event to be staged at the Hyatt Regency Austin is considered the premier business and economic forecasting event of the year.

AUSTIN, TX — The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its Economic Outlook event on Thursday.

The Dec. 5 event to be staged at the Hyatt Regency Austin is considered the premier business and economic forecasting event of the year, attracting more than 500 attendees from the Austin region.

Sarah House, senior economist for Wells Fargo Securities, will provide the economic forecast, focusing on predictions for the upcoming year. The featured panel, "How to stay ahead of data threats and how to protect your customers," will provide the audience with information and tips on how to protect consumer information and financial data.

In addition to House, others panelists include:

  • Jason Kelley - General Manager, IBM Blockchain.
  • Alex Corley - Solutions Architect for AWS and Compliance, Amazo.
  • Nick Steele with Dell Technologies.
  • Lorenzo Alvarado - SVP Global Information Security Officer Technology, PIMCO, LLC.
  • Lt. Col. Christopher Winnek - Texas Military Cyber Incident Response Team.
