AUSTIN, TX — Austin CX company Hero Digital has appointed Razorfish veteran Patrick Frend as its first president, officials announced this week.

In his new role, Frend will oversee client portfolios and practice areas, reporting into Hero Digital CEO and Co-Founder Dave Kilimnik. Frend joins the company from consulting and creative agency GALE Partners where he served as Managing Director of the company's U.S. operations. Prior to GALE, he spent 18 years at Razorfish in several leadership roles, propelling the agency’s growth and industry reputation.

Hero Digital officials said Frend's role as company president comes at a pivotal moment amid exponential growth and expansion for the company following the recent opening of its new Austin office and the acquisition of Austin B2B marketing agency, Bulldog Solutions.
