Austin Design Week Call For Entries Opens
Event comprises a week of free local workshops, talks, studio tours and other activities aimed at galvanizing city's design community.
AUSTIN, TX — Austin Design Week has opened its call for entries for the its 4th annual upcoming gathering.
The event comprises a week of free local workshops, talks, studio tours and other activities aimed at bringing the city's design community together. To that end, ADW invites designers in various disciplines to showcase their best work in visual, interactive, web/mobile, product, industrial, architectural and civic design.
With this year's theme of “Make Space,” ADW is slated for Nov. 4-8. That may seem a bit off into the future, but entrants should start planning now as the call for proposals is scheduled to close on June 25 before midnight. "Entrants are encouraged to think broadly about the theme and submit proposals for workshops, studio tours, featured events, and more," organizers wrote in an email.
