Austin Event To Feature Hands-On Science Activities
American Association for the Advancement of Science set to host a FREE two-day science event featuring interactive exhibits and more.

AUSTIN, TX -- The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) will host its upcoming Family Science Days later this month featuring hands-on activities aimed at enhancing knowledge about the world around us.
The event is scheduled on Saturday, Feb. 17 and Sunday, Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The free event will feature two days of interactive science exhibits on-science activities for all to enjoy while learning about science careers. Scientists will be on hand to answer questions. Interactive booths for kids K-12 and their families will highlight areas of science, and a live stage show also is scheduled.

The event will be staged at the Austin Convention Center, 500 E. Cesar Chavez St.
