Austin Grocery Stores' Christmas Eve Hours 2019

AUSTIN, TEXAS — It's inevitable that someone will rush out to the grocery store on Christmas Eve for ingredients to holiday meals only to find the retailer has closed early. Store employees need time with their families, after all.

Know before you go. We researched holiday hours of operation for the most prominent retail and grocery stores, and here's what we found:

ALDI

According to the company website, all ALDI stores are closed on Christmas Day, with limited hours on Christmas Eve. Holiday hours for individual ALDI stores can be found by using the store locator.

ARLAN'S MARKET

Arlan's Market, a family-owned business headquartered in Seabrook, Texas, has three stores in Austin. Hours will be limited on Christmas Eve, but no information was found on a uniform schedule. It's best to call your neighborhood Arlan's store ahead of time before heading out. The local Arlan's stores are:

Houston-based Fiesta Food Mart operates a pair of Austin stores, each closed on Christmas Day and on shortened hours of operation on Christmas Eve. If you need something on Dec. 24 before the holiday closures, it's best to call the store to find out what their hours are. The stores are:
