Austin Icon Scholz Garten To Stage 2nd Annual Fish Fry
2nd annual culinary event on Saturday, June 15, will be kid- and dog-friendly with a Phish cover band playing to the fish-loving crowd.

AUSTIN, TX — Summer is upon us, and there's few ways better to celebrate than with a good, old-fashioned fish fry. If this is your thing, you're in luck: Scholz Garten has scheduled one this coming Saturday.
The culinary event scheduled on Saturday, June 15, from noon to 5 p.m. is sponsored by Rambler Sparkling Water. The iconic site at 1607 San Jacinto Blvd. — the longest running biergarten in America, established in 1866 — is staging its second annual fish fry as a free, dog- and kid-friendly event that will feature Phish cover band, Josh Pearson Goes Phish. Scholz will be serving Catfish Plates, served with waffles fries, coleslaw and hush puppies in celebration of the event.
