Austin LGBT Chamber Celebrates Small Business Saturday

From advertising firms to sports and recreation concerns, the chamber has dozens of members offering a wide range of products and services.

AUSTIN, TX — The Austin LGBT Chamber is among those organizations celebrating Small Business Saturday today, dedicated to supporting small firms and communities.

Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Since its launch, consumers have reported spending an estimated $103 billion across all Small Business Saturdays combined across the U.S. This year marks the 10th annual Small Business Saturday.

"This year, we encourage you to get out and support the small business owners of Austin with people you love," chamber officials wrote in a press advisory. "Together we thrive!"
