Austin MACC Taking Applications For Artist Residency Program

Officials added the Latino Artist Residency Program will re-branded as the Latino Artist Access Program, with contract open for review.

AUSTIN, TX — The Mexican American Cultural Center is accepting applications for its Latino Artist Residency Program, officials said.

Concurrent to their call for applications, MACC officials announced this week the Latino Artist Residency Program will re-branded as the Latino Artist Access Program (LAAP). Moreover, Austin Parks and Recreation and MACC officials seek the public's feedback on the LAAP contract, officials said.

The deadline to review the contract (which is posted in six sections, including agreement, scheduling, payment and more) is Thursday, June 27. To read the entire contract, click here. Those interested can share feedback by using their SpeakUp Austin account or creating an account. A Spanish version of the contract on Speak Up Austin will be posted on June 17.
