Austin Medics Rescue Injured Man From Park Trail
Man in his 60s sustained non-life-threatening injuries after falling from trail at Walnut Creek Park on Sunday morning.
AUSTIN, TX — Medics rescued a man who sustained injuries on a trail Sunday.
The wilderness rescue occurred at Walnut Creek Park just after 8:30 a.m., Austin-Travis County EMS medics said on Twitter. A so-called "hasty team" rescued the victim, a man in his 60s, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was taken to the hospital for evaluation. No further details were disclosed.
