Austin PD Seeks Suspect In Walgreens Robberies
Police are seeking help from the public in locating a man wanted in a series of stores robberies that have happened throughout April.
AUSTIN, TX — The Austin Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating a suspect wanted in connection to a series of robberies this month targeting several Walgreens locations, officials said Thursday.
The first robbery occurred on April 1 at 7:14 p.m. at the Walgreens located on 3407 W. Wells Parkway, police said in a news release. The second robbery occurred at the Walgreens at 5345 Interstate 35 on April 8 followed by the most recent robbery at the Walgreens at 12550 Metric Boulevard this past Tuesday on April 28.
Police said the suspect uses a similar routine each time: He enters the store, possibly with a weapon in his pocket, and demands money from the cashier. The suspect then flees on foot, police added. To date, no injuries have resulted. Police released images from a surveillance camera showing the suspect who is described as:

- White male.
- Early to mid-20s.
- Thin build.
- Light brown hair and eyes.
- Light brown stubble/possible facial hair.
- Last seen wearing white surgical mask, grey hoodie, off-white or grey pants, black and white tennis shoes (possibly Vans).
