AUSTIN, TX - The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport has resumed normal operations following a brief scare with a suspicious package.

On Tuesday morning, the Austin Police Department responded to reports of a suspicious package on the lower level curbside area. For a short period of time, visitors dropping off or picking up passengers at the airport were ordered to proceed to the upper level curbside.

After police arrived on the scene, they eventually deemed the package safe.
