Austin Police Seek Public's Help Locating Missing Man

Martin Gutierrez, 25, was last seen along 90 block of Rainey Street at around 1 a.m. on Monday, according to a police advisory.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Police are seeking help from the public in locating a missing man, officials said on Tuesday.

Martin Gutierrez, 25, was last seen at around 1 a.m. on Monday in the 90 block of Rainey Street. As part of their advisory, police issued a photo of Gutierrez in the hopes someone might recognize him and alert the authorities.

Gutierrez is described as a Hispanic male standing at five feet, eight inches and weighing 160 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes, according to the police advisory. Gutierrez was last seen wearing a black Patagonia jacket, light green shirt, dark blue jeans and gray Vans-brand shoes.

Anyone with information regarding the missing man's whereabouts are urged to call the emergency 9-1-1 line immediately or the Missing Persons Unit at 512-974-5250 (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
