Personal finance website WalletHub prompted by National Small Business Week to determine best cities for business viability.
AUSTIN, TX — Austin is the 4th best large city in the U.S. in which to launch a small business, according to a new study.
Researchers at the personal finance website WalletHub sought out to determine the best cities for small businesses as National Small Business Week kicked off on May 5. Austin emerged in the top five, with metrics ranging from five-year business survival rate to office space affordability.
Given that reckoning, the capital city fared will in terms of corporate viability on a number of key areas ranked on a scale from 1 being best to 50 being average, including:
