Beat the Heat at the Popsicle Dash Austin on July 25

Participants of all ages and skill levels can enjoy frozen treats, fun runs, and family-friendly activities at Hutto Memorial Stadium.

Get ready to make sweet summer memories at Lonestar Running Company’s (LRC) Popsicle Dash Austin on Saturday, July 25, at Hutto Memorial Stadium (573 Chris Kelley Boulevard). Open to participants of all ages and skill levels, this family-friendly event combines fitness, fun and frozen treats for a memorable day of community celebration.

These 5K and 10K events kick off at 7 a.m., followed by an awards ceremony at 8:15 a.m., and a Kids/Family 1K at 8:45 a.m. With free parking, popsicle-themed fun and a stadium course, this family-friendly walk/run is too cool to pass up!

But there’s more to this event than just smiles and sticky high-fives. Proceeds from Popsicle Dash Austin benefit the Nolan Ryan Foundation, which has been pitching in for the community since 1990. Now based in Round Rock, the Foundation supports youth programs, education and community development across the Texas region.

“We saw how much people value events that bring communities together,” said Randi Schooley, co-founder of LRC. “The Summer Dash Series is focused on creating fun traditions that promote healthy lifestyles, support meaningful causes and bring families and friends together.”

The Popsicle Dash is the second event in the Summer Dash Series, following the Lemonade Dash in June. The series concludes with the Watermelon Dash on August 22.

Medals will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, top three Masters (40+) male and female, and first place age group winners (10-year divisions).
