Here are the top stories today in Austin:

1) The family of the 27-year-old murdered at Barton Springs continues to press for answers. Camnik Campbell was found shot to death in the parking lot of Barton Springs Pool on August 25th. His body was discovered around 5 a.m. – riddled with bullets. Its been almost 3 months since Campbell's death and his family continues to grieve and search for answers.

Campbell's mother, Nikki Olton, told FOX 7 Austin: "I'm never able to hug my son again. And that was probably one of the hardest things on this side of eternity. I'll never be able to hear him laugh or see his smile and all the joy that he did bring…" Anyone with information is urged to contact Austin Police: 512-472-TIPS (8477 or 800-893-TIPS (8477). Head to FOX 7 Austin for the full story.

2) Austin FC knocks out Salt Lake in a shootout to complete its playoff comeback! What an exciting and stressful night out at the Q2 Stadium. Austin FC will now advance to the semifinals, where it will host the winner of the Oct. 17 match between FC Dallas and Minnesota United FC next Sunday. Head to KXAN for the full game recap.

3) Austin Fire Department responded to a fire near Hyde Park on Sunday morning. On Sunday around 10 a.m., firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire near W 39 1/2 Street and Rosedale Ave. CBS Austin reports "no injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation." Head to CBS Austin to learn more about this developing story.

4) Local organizations, community members, and restaurants continue to combat food insecurity in the area. Head to the Austin American-Statesman to learn how local nonprofits like Angel House Soup Kitchen and restaurants like P.
