AUSTIN, TX — A dead body was found near the downtown area, police said on Tuesday.
The discovery was made along the 2100 block of Lou Neff Road after police received a call just after 8:15 a.m., police said via Twitter. "The death does not appear to be suspicious at this time," police wrote.
The approximate age and gender of the deceased person were not specified, and no further details were released. The area where the body was found is not far from the banks of the Colorado River.
