Hiring in Austin: British Currency Exchange Company
At least five sales and marketing positions are open after company moves into permanent Austin office space.

A British currency exchange company, World First, is looking to populate its new office space by recruiting new employees.
The company will be moving into a permanent location Downtown at 4780 square-foot office on 211 E 7th St. Previously the company had rented space from WeWork on 6th and Congress.
“We chose austin for the culture and the fit for the company. Outside of the phenomenal talent pool Austin is a young, hip and innovating community,” Tory Brunker, head of U.S. marketing, told Patch.

And World First will be looking to dip into that talent pool.
Brunker said that at least 5 sales and marketing positions are open at the new office, but the company will ideally be looking to bring on more people. She said the new office space means the company has plenty of space for new employees.

Recently, World First chose to close its offices in San Francisco, opting to consolidate their U.S. efforts to Austin and Washington D.C.
“World First is really trying to push the envelope in the way that businesses and consumers make transfers, and the technology base in austin is a better fit.”
