One day. Thirteen spirits. Countless bad decisions throughout history.

Pack your passport and your palate for a slightly boozy world tour through the origins of the world’s most iconic spirits. From smoky mezcal hillsides to centuries-old Scotch traditions, this immersive tasting class explores how humans looked at fermented beverages thousands of years ago and thought, “What if we made this stronger?” Honestly, respect.

In this in-depth guided tasting, guests will sample thirteen major spirit categories while learning the history, regional traditions, production methods, and signature characteristics that make each one distinct. Along the way, we’ll break down the art of tasting, teach you how to identify spirits like a seasoned connoisseur, and help you confidently describe what’s happening in your glass without sounding like you’re making it up.

Guests will also enjoy three classic cocktails paired with hors d’oeuvres while learning the stories and techniques behind the drinks that helped shape cocktail culture around the world.

Topics Covered:
The surprisingly chaotic history of fermentation and distillation
How the world’s most popular spirits are produced
The fundamentals of tasting and blind tasting
