Old Gregg is hosting the qualifying competition for the 2026 Texas Steinholding State Championship. On Saturday, Sept. 12, participants will put their steinholding skills to the test and see how long they can hold on.
The winners of the competition will earn the opportunity to represent Old Gregg at the Texas Steinholding State Championship at Wurstfest in New Braunfels on November 15. Winners there will be invited to compete in the U.S. Steinholding Association National Championship.
The competition will begin at 3:00 p.m. and participants are encouraged to sign up in advance at www.oldgreggbrewingco.com. PLUS — InterStellar BBQ will be popping up at Old Gregg on September 12. More details on the BBQ pop-up coming soon.
