Superminds Academy by MindSee, designed by neuropsychologist Dr. Ann DeSollar, is a family workshop built around one skill: learning to see through a blindfold. It's how kids build cognitive flexibility, focus, confidence, and perceptual ability (intuition), with you guiding every step along the way.
The 75-minute experience, designed for children ages 4 through 16, invites kids and their parents to explore focus, communication, and intuition through blindfolded exercises, sensory games, and collaborative challenges, turning attention training into playful, hands-on activities that encourage concentration and connection.
Participants move through a progression of activities while blindfolded, beginning with simple 2D exercises involving colors, patterns and numbers before advancing to 3D challenges using cups, tactile objects, sorting games and fine-motor tasks. As the exercises become more complex, participants are encouraged to rely less on sight and more on their ability to process information, communicate clearly and work together, while having fun!
