Jupiter Supper Club turns Nova Lounge, its velvet-draped, low-lit live music venue, into the setting for Spirits Among Us: A Night of Witchcraft & Whiskey, a one-night-only Halloween dinner. Chef Olson serves a four-course, plant-forward menu, with each dish featuring an herb and the magic folklore behind it.
The menu opens with basil sunchoke bites, where basil lends love and protection as a welcoming charm. A radicchio salad with mint follows, bringing renewal and a fresh awakening for the senses. Squash black pasta with marjoram comes next, evoking happiness and harmony. Red velvet cake with thyme closes the night with courage and strength, a final charm to carry out the door.
Shalane & Company performs a live set that follows the theme, with songs including “Black Magic Woman” and “I Put a Spell on You.” Each guest receives a Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Rye Manhattan. Florals are by Austin Floral Design.
Costumes are welcome and encouraged. Seating is limited to 24 guests, and diners can note dietary needs when they reserve.
