Hiring Red, White & You! Austin's Largest Veterans Hiring Event
Event Details
On Thursday, Nov. 5, Workforce Solutions Capital Area, in
partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Veterans Commission, Texas Medical Center and the Office of the Governor, will host the 15th Annual Hiring Red, White & You! event. This veterans hiring event will take place at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The job fair connects veterans, transitioning service members and their spouses, with city and statewide employers. From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Veterans' Priority Service Hours will offer targeted resources for veterans and military families. The event will then open to the public from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Participating employers include Aalo Atomics, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Athena Manufacturing, Austin Police Department, CyberTex Institute of Technology, OriGen Biomedical, Samsung Austin Semiconductor, and various Texas Commissions and Departments, among others.
