Child Hurt In South Austin Traffic Collision
A traffic wreck along the south Interstate 35 service road at East William Cannon Drive resulted in multiple injuries, medics said.
AUSTIN, Texas —A child was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment following a rollover crash in South Austin late Tuesday.
The traffic wreck occurred along the south Interstate 35 service road at East William Cannon Drive, Austin-Travis County EMS said just before 9:15 p.m. The child of undisclosed age was transported to Dell Children's Medical Center for unspecified injuries deemed potentially serious.
The collision resulted in multiple patients, medics said, noting that a third ambulance was dispatched to the wreckage. Drivers were urged to avoid the area to accommodate a police investigation, medics' patient transport and road cleanup.
