'Coffee With A Cop' Gathering Set For South Austin
Recurring meetings with residents allow a casual, accessible interaction between citizens and the cops patrolling their neighborhoods.
SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — The next "Coffee With a Cop" gathering is scheduled this week in South Central Austin.
The community gatherings enable residents to interact with their local officers in a casual setting to air concerns or simply meet cops safeguarding their neighborhoods in person. The next such event is scheduled on Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Whataburger off East MLK Boulevard.
The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., police said.
