Dell Children's Celebrates Construction Milestone

Dell Children’s Medical Center held a topping out ceremony to mark a significant milestone in the construction of Dell Children's Medical Center North Campus. The commemorative ceremony, hosted by JE Dunn Construction, celebrates the project’s continued progress with the placing of the last steel beam on the four story building. Dell Children’s Medical Center North is expected to open Spring 2023.

The new, state-of-the-art Dell Children’s Medical Center North is located in Williamson County. Totaling more than 187,000 square feet, the hospital will include 36 beds and emergency and trauma services, with two operating rooms, endoscopy and procedure rooms and shelled space for future growth.
Dell Children’s Medical Center North will have four levels for specialized pediatric care.

• 1st level: emergency department offering level III trauma care
• 2nd level: two operating rooms
• 3rd level: 36 beds and Ronald McDonald suite, with a lounge, kitchen and bedrooms
• 4th level: dedicated to future growth and expansion for a capacity of 72 more beds

The north campus will also include a 60,000 square foot medical office building that will provide North Austin with outpatient subspecialty services closer to home.
