Delta Airlines To Launch Austin-To-Boston Nonstop Flight Service By September
Year-round service will operate six days a week Monday through Saturday from Austin on upgraded Airbus A319 aircraft offering first class.

AUSTIN, TX — Delta Airlines will start offering nonstop service from Austin to Boston this September, company officials announced on Tuesday.
While the service from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Boston Logan International Airport is scheduled to be launched in the fall, but tickets for travelers can be booked now via www.delta.com. The new year-round nonstop service will operate six days a week Monday through Saturday beginning Sept. 11, with flights departing Austin at 6:30 a.m. and arriving in Boston by 12:20 p.m.
Additionally, Boston-to-Austin flights beginning on Sept. 10 will operate six days per week, Sundays-Fridays, departing Beantown at 7:30 p.m. and arriving in the Texas capital city at 11:10 p.m., Delta officials said.

The flight will be operated using recently upgraded Airbus A319 aircraft offering free on-demand in-flight entertainment for all passengers. The aircraft also accommodate first class seating.
According to information provided by the carrier, Delta provided Austin service to 1.5 million passengers in 2016 as the airport’s fourth largest carrier. The addition of the Boston flights bring to nine the number of Delta’s list of nonstop flights from Austin.

Delta will also begin new nonstop service to Seattle on June 12 (SEA). On March 9, the airline launched nonstop service from Austin to Raleigh-Durham (RDU). In addition to that recently launched service, the carrier currently operates Austin nonstop service to Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), Los Angeles (LAX), Minneapolis / St. Paul (MSP), New York (JFK), and Salt Lake City (SLC).
Other recent lines include nonstop international destinations, including Guadalajara, Mexico (GDL) on Volaris, www.volaris.com, and Mexico City, Mexico (MEX) on AeroMexico, www.aeromexico.com. Several domestic nonstop flights were recently added at ABIA: Kansas City (MCI) and Panama City (ECP) on www.southwest.com, Raleigh-Durham (RDU) on Delta, www.delta.com, and Indianapolis (IND), Pittsburgh (PIT), St. Petersburg (PIE), Destin-Fort Walton Beach (VPS), and Cleveland (CLE) on Allegiant,www.allegiantair.com.
A new carrier was recently added to the mix, Sun Country offering service to Minneapolis – St. Paul International Airport (MSP) at www.suncountry.com.
