The sweetest run of the summer is making its debut at Mission County Park in San Antonio! Houston Running Company (HRC) is launching its fan-favorite Summer Dash Series with the inaugural Lemonade Dash on Sunday, June 7, bringing a refreshing mix of miles, smiles and ice-cold lemonade. Participants can choose from a 5K, 10K or 1K Family Run, creating a fun, inclusive event where runners and walkers of all ages can find their perfect “zest” pace.

A Series That’s Berry Hard to Beat (and Even Harder to Miss):
This is just the beginning of a full fruit-forward lineup. The Summer Dash Series continues with the Popsicle Dash (July 12) and Watermelon Dash (August 9), and will serve up a whole season of cool, refreshing fun. Participants who register for all three races receive 10% off, because sticking with the series definitely pays to “peel” good.

Race Day That’s Worth the Zest Effort:
Join the fun on Sunday, June 7, at Mission County Park (6030 Padre Drive, San Antonio), with free parking available onsite. Expect a race day that’s anything but sour - featuring lemonade stations and summer surprises.

The 5K and 10K start at 7:30 a.m., followed by awards at 8:45 a.m. The Kids/Family 1K begins at 9:15 a.m., and welcomes runners, walkers, beginners and parents with strollers ready to “roll with the flow.”

“The Summer Dash Series was created to turn the heat of summer into something people can actually look forward to,” said co-founder Randi Schooley. “It’s about bringing the community together, having fun and making every mile feel a little more refreshing. We’re excited to introduce that energy to San Antonio and welcome even more runners to the experience.”

More Than Miles - It’s a Cause That’s Sweet on Impact:
Proceeds from the event benefit Ainsley’s Angels Southeast Texas, which promotes inclusion in endurance events for individuals with disabilities; The Asher House Animal Sanctuary, dedicated to rescuing and rehoming animals in need; and LifeGift Organ Donation, which supports the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Together, these organizations prove that even when life gives us lemons, we can always make something meaningful out of the squeeze.
