Downtown Austin Restaurant Unveils 'Summer Of Ceviche'

With the advent of summer, La Condesa, 400 W. 2nd St., will offer a rotating menu of various ceviches through Labor Day.

AUSTIN, TX — With summer officially here, it's time to start enjoying some ceviche. One venue to enjoy the popular seafood dish is La Condesa, where their self-described "Summer of Ceviche" has already begun.

Rotating ceviche specials are featured at the eatery located at 400 W. 2nd St., yielding a veritable coastal tour of the refreshing summer staple. La Condesa's ceviche service is available through Labor Day, restaurant officials said.

Created by Executive Chef Rick Lopez and team, the rotating selection of specials highlight the diversity of ceviche in Latin America. A few sample dishes include the Lima Snapper, which includes red chile broth, red onion, serrano, Fagan Family farm chiles, celery flower, and lime, the Tostada Ensenada, which features mahi mahi, carrot greens, sweet peppers, jalapeño, avocado purée and carrot flower, and the Son Jarocho, which is made with yellow eye snapper, tomato water, oregano flowers and valley onion.
