Dozens Of Flights Canceled To/From Austin Amid Winter Storm

With temperatures below freezing, Southwest Airlines, American Airlines and other carriers cancel flights outright.

AUSTIN, TX — More than 70 flights have been canceled to and from Austin-Bergstrom International Airportamid a severe winter storm on Tuesday.

As of early morning, a dozen flights bound for Austin from Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, San Jose and Seattle were canceled. A glance at the airport website shows most of the cancellations are from Southwest Airlines, with a few cancellations from Alaska Airlines and American Airlines.

Additionally, more than 60 departures from the following cities have also been canceled due to inclement weather:
