1) Neighbors: early voting starts TODAY, Oct. 24. Have you made your plan to vote early yet? Find out where to vote at: https://www.votetexas.gov/. Questions or problems at your polling place? Call 1-844-TX-VOTES Or Text 1-888-844-VOTE.

This election will give you the opportunity to vote in key races including Texas governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, mayor, city council seats, and AISD board members. Learn more about what's on the ballot here at the Travis County Clerk's website.

2) Go, Verde, go! Austin FC takes down rival FC Dallas to advance in MLS Cup playoffs. Austin FC led from the 26th minute to beat FC Dallas 2-1. Head to The Statesman to read a full recap of the match.
