Here are the top stories in Austin today:

2) A teen found shot inside a crashed vehicle last week has died at the hospital. On Sunday, Oct. 23, APD responded to a shooting in North Austin. KVUE reported: "At the scene, officers found a vehicle crashed into a utility pole. Inside the vehicle was a juvenile driver who had been shot." The victim was taken to a hospital, but died three days later. KVUE has more on this story here.


3) It's another busy week for Austin, with the 2022 Texas Book Fest and the Austin Food & Wine Festival kicking off later this week.
