First Responders Rescue Woman Who Fell From Cliff In Austin
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the woman has been airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center.
AUSTIN, TX – First responders rushed to the aid of a woman who fell from a cliff Thursday morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. She's believed to be in her late teens.
Around 10:15 a.m., the Austin Fire Department, Star Flight along with EMS responded to the 5400 block of Courtyard Drive in reference to a wilderness rescue.
After arriving on scene, crews say there were able to see that the woman was suffering from traumatic injuries stemming from the fall.

According to medics, the woman was located on the side of a steep hill near the water.
Crews were able to get the woman off the hill, place her in a rescue boat and airlift her to Dell Seton Medical Center.

According to EMS, the woman's injuries are described as "potentially serious, but not expected to be life threatening."
