Free Austin Concert Series Leads Up To Waterloo Music Festival

AUSTIN, TX — Organizers of the debut Waterloo Music Festival coming in August have teamed up with others to present a series of concerts leading up to the big day.

Festival organizers are collaborating with Ilegal Mezcal and The Hippie House in presenting "Waterloo Wednesdays" happening at The Parish (214 E 6th St.) in downtown Austin every Wednesday leading up to the inaugural festival starting on Wednesday, Aug. 1, festival organizers said in a press advisory.

Each week of Waterloo Wednesdays, attendees can enter for a chance to win a pair of GA Waterloo Music Festival passes and enjoy live painting, dancers, vendors, and other offerings. officials said. Attendees will get to experience a taste of Waterloo Music Fest via performances by bands like The Cream Cheese Accident, Panic Stricken, Los Coast and more, officials added.

The official pre-parties to Waterloo Music Festival, Waterloo Wednesdays are 18+ and free to all fest pass holders. For those without passes, tickets are only $7 advance / $10 DOS, plus an additional $5 charge for minors. Tickets can be purchased at waterloofest.com/wednesdays.

The Waterloo Wednesday pre-parties will give attendees a taste of this festival experience with performances by acts like The Cream Cheese Accident, a tribute to The String Cheese Incident, who are headlining all three nights of the inaugural festival; local legends Los Coast, who play Saturday of this first year fest; Panic Stricken, a tribute to Widespread Panic, and more.
