Garth Brooks To Headline Free SXSW Concert At Lady Bird Lake

UPDATE: Tickets for this free concert have all been claimed. They all were claimed within mere minutes of the announcement by SXSW officials.

AUSTIN, TX — South by Southwest Music Festival announced the Outdoor Stage lineup headlined by Garth Brooks for a free concert scheduled this Saturday.

Presented by Amazon Music, the venue will feature the Austin skyline as backdrop with staging at the Auditorium Shores fronting Lady Bird Lake, 800 W. Riverside. Gates are scheduled to open at 11 a.m.

In addition to Brooks, the lineup includes: Colter Wall, Cale Tyson, Shannon McNally, Holly Macve, Nicole Atkins and Sunny Sweeney.

Complimentary general admission tickets may be obtained here starting at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17. SXSW Outdoor Stage at Lady Bird Lake is located in Austin, TX. Admission by complimentary ticket to this event will be restricted to residents of Austin and surrounding areas. Residency will be based on credit card billing address.

SXSW registrants and Music Festival wristband holders can also attend, with a special allocation of space made available via Primary and Secondary access. No ticket is required with a badge or wristband.
