Global Climbing Day Scheduled In South Austin

AUSTIN, TX — Cruz Climbing Center has scheduled a family fun day later this month in celebration of Global Climbing Day, officials announced on Tuesday.

The Aug. 24 event in South Austin will feature an array of activities for the entire family, including kid’s yoga, face painting, a raffle and vendors from across Austin organizers describe as "...a perfect way to introduce the entire family, adults and children alike, to the climbing, fitness, and yoga community."

Those tentative in participating are assured staff members will be there to show them the ropes. Here are the details:

Who: Crux Climbing Center in partnership with The North Face.

What: Family Fun Day in celebration of The North Face Global Climbing Day.

When: Aug. 24, 2019, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Crux Climbing Center, 121 Pickle Rd, #100, Austin, TX 78704
