Halloween-Themed Chamber Music To Be Featured At October's Classical Jam

Monthly open chamber reading night invites audiences to enjoy the collaboration of Austin classical musicians.

AUSTIN, TX -- According to the great philosopher Plato, "Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and everything." The mere act of listening to music affords us an opportunity to suspend the trappings of everyday, and for the duration of a song we experience the communion between melody and emotion.

This kind of passion and dedication to music will be put on display when Classical Jams Austin presents October's Classical Jam/Open Chamber Reading Night on Tuesday, Oct. 24 from 8 PM - 11 PM. This FREE event is open to the public with classical jams being held every fourth Tuesday of the month at Kick Butt Coffee Music & Booze. Austin's classical musicians collaborate in this monthly open chamber music reading and they invite all interested musicians to join in.

To kick off October's jam night, Halloween-themed chamber music will be featured with Susana Lee on piano and Karli Leal on viola. For more information about this event, please visit October's Classical Jam events page. Event will be held at 5775 Airport Boulevard, Austin, TX 78752.
